And I am certainly a fan of Susan Calvin's character as drawn by Harlan Ellison and Isaac Asimov, so in that way, all my illustrations of her can be stretchingly called "fan art." But ordinarily the term refers to artwork done by enthusiasts for no money, for the sole purpose of sharing with other enthusiasts. All my Calvin renderings were done as a professional illustrator for pay. It would be nice, however, if my illustrations did inspire true fan art of Susan Calvin.
