After completing Morning in the Cradle, I recieved a request for another alternate of Gaea's Cradle. Not wanting to repeat myself, I proposed a winter scene, which my client was nice enough to agree to. Here, winter has come to the world of Gaea's and the usual floral and faerie life has been driven into hiding. In their place cavort beings more at home in the cold: mink, and ferret/bird-type faeries. The warmth-loving former denizens of the garden watch from the shelter of one of the life-giving trees. Notice that the tree's usually gravid "fruits" are here shrunken and wrinkled in depletion.
