In this re-tread of an earlier Consecrated Sphinx, I was asked to do a non-Phyrexian creature based on a snowy owl. I took the opportunity to pay homage to perhaps my longest-loved rock band, Rush, and their album Fly By Night, featuring the art of Eraldo Carugati.
